Local news has some favorite phrases,. . .the satellite age has increased the library of available shocking footage. . .if there wasn't something grisly in your town, you might hear, "Police made a shocking discovery today in Reno," or Chicago, or Miami, or even Caracus. It may not be local, but it is gruesome, so what the hell.
