But Jesus replied, 'Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?'...From his statement we see that Jesus clearly connects their fear with their lack of faith. Fear is the opposite of faith. When we have faith we're not afraid. When we're afraid, it's because we lack faith. It really comes down to this: Do we believe God's promisses go us, or not?
