The equator is a sign of equality, splitting the earth into two equal halves. Unfortunately, the equator also splits the earth into mostly two groups of people: The haves (north of the equator) and the have nots (south of the equator). The only people who don’t fall into either category are people who live east and west of the equator. I’m talking about astronauts.
