you see how strangely history repeats itself.Here and now in Bosnia we are seeing images like those of the second world war. I remember that war very well.I was 16 when it began ,and 20 when it ended . Then,too, there were Chentniks and Ustasha,and they are again.the difference is that these Chetniks are worse than the Chetniks of that time,these Ustasha worse than those Ustasha.I can say this with complete confidence ,because Ustasha of that time didn't destroy the Old Bridge ,nor the mosques of Mostar ,and these have done so.

Alija Izetbegovićإن الطاعة العمياء تحيل كائنات بشرية سوية بفطرتها إلى أناس يفتقدون الثقة في أنفسهم .. يطاردهم شبح الإدانة ومشاعر الذنب الدفينة .. ومع الزمن تصبح راية لفلسفة يستظل بها مجموعات من أقزام البشر هاربون من الواقع المُرّ بحثاً عن ملجأ لهم في الاستسلام السلبي ومواساة النفس.
Alija Izetbegovićربما كان هناك بعض الدكتاتوريين الأخيار ، لكن ليس هناك دكتاتورية خيّرة ، جميعها مذلة ، وغير منتجة حتى عندما تكون مؤيدة رسمياً لأمور إيجابية مثل : التنمية الإقتصادية ، والتعليم ، والنظام الصحي ، وما يسمى بالضمان الإجتماعي ..إلخ . إلا أنه في المحصلة النهائية جميع تلك النظم تعطي نتائج سلبية ، فهي لا تشجع و تنمي حقوق الإنسان ، وبالتالي لا تؤدي إلى الأمان أو الإزدهار ، حتى لو أرادت هي ذلك .
