Of course, God does not need our sinful prayers, but still, in His love for us He likes us to pray. And it is not only that holy prayer which the Holy Spirit Himself helps us to offer and arouses in us that is pleasing to Him, for He asks that of us...but every intention, every impulse, even every thought which is directed to His glory and our own salvation is of value in His sight
