Marcus Aureliusإذا ما استطاعَ إنسانٌ أن يثبتَ لي أني على خطأ ويبين لي خطئي في أي فكرةٍ أو فعل ، فسوف أُغيِّر نفسي بكل سرور . أن أريدُ إلا الحق ، وهو مطلبٌ لم يضر أي إنسانٍ قط .
إنما الضررُ هو أن يُصرَّ المـرءُ على جهلهِ ويستمر في خداع ذاته .
