عادةً ما يكونُ الإنسانُ الهادئ مُشتعلاً في داخله، ليسَ شرطاً أن يكونَ الهدوءُ علامةَ المثالية، المثالية ليست هادئةً أبداً، إنها تبدو كذلك من على السطح فقط، أما في العمق، تحتَ القشرة الخارجيةِ، فالإنسانُ المثالي: مُتناقضٌ بطبعه، يكتظُّ عقله بمئات الأفكار والتجارب التي ليس لها فُرصةٌ للخروج في ظلِّ خمولٍ فكري عام، وانتفاء أي بيئةٍ خصبة لازدهار الأفكار ونموها.

كلُّ شخصٍ يسألُ عن الطريقةِ الصحيحةِ لتأليفِ كتاب، إنما يسألُ عن أمرٍ مُلتبس، فهذا السؤال ينتمي لفئة الأسئلة الضبابية ذات الإجابات المُحتملة والمشروطة.
هذا السؤالُ على بساطته وبديهيةِ إجابته، إلا أنه مُهم، و يُسببُ الكثيرَ من المشاكل بالنسبة للأشخاص غير المتورطين في مملكةِ الحرف. لكن ثق بما أنك قد سألت هذا السؤال، أو حتى اهتممت بإجابته، فأنت تمتلكُ اهتماماً حقيقياً بالكتابة.
تنبعُ أهميةً السؤال من كونه عتيقاً للغاية، ومن أهميةِ الأشخاص الذين حاولوا الإجابة عليه، فعددٌ لا بأسَ به من المؤلفين الكبار والأدباء قد أشبعوه إجابةً وملؤوه تنظيراً، ولكن السر الكبير الذي يدفعُ جزءً كبيراً من الناس لمعاودة سؤاله مراراً وتكراراً، هو تمنياتهم ورغباتهم السرية بأن تكون الإجابة على قدرِ المعطيات التي يملكونها، إنهم يُريدون تصريحاً خاصاً مُفصلاً على ظروفِ حياتهم، ومقاسِ إمكانياتهم المعرفية.
حسناً في الحقيقة، لا يجبُ أن تمتلكَ أيَّ مُعطياتٍ إضافية باستثناء لغة تكتبُ بها، وفكرةً تكتبُ عنها، وأداة كتابة، سواء كانت قلماً، شاشة، أي أداة يمكنك بها إنجاز كتاب يتحدث عن فكرةٍ تعيشُ في رأسك، وربما بعض الطموح الذي يدفعك لإتقان ما تكتب. غير ذلك لا تحتاجُ إلى أي تصاريح، أو دورات خاصة، أو إمكانيات معرفية هائلة.
لستَ بحاجة أن تكون أكاديمياً مثلاً، أو باحثاً، أو مُتخصصاً في شئ ما. فما دمت تعرف اللغة وتجيدُ استخدامها، يمكنك أن تنسج بها ما تشاء من مواضيع، وتصف ما يدور في رأسك من أفكار.
كتابة الكتب، أمر أسهل مما يمكن تخيله، وبإمكان كل إنسان أن يكون مؤلفاً وكاتباً، لكن بالطبع، ليس بإمكان الجميع أن يكونوا عظماء، إلا من سعى لذلك وعانى من أجل الوصول.
لكن، باختصار، لا تكتب كتاباً إذا كان الدافع أحد الأسباب التالية:
1- لمجرد أن تكون كاتباً.
2- لمجرد الشهرة.
3- لمجرد سهولة الكتابة.
4- لأنك تريد أن تثرثر، وتحتاج لمن يسمعك.
