Europe had fallen back into the barbarity of the first ages. People from this part of world, so enlightened today, lived a few centuries ago in a state worse than ignorance. إذا كان القرآن قد تنزل بما هو أحد تجليات المعرفة الإلهية المتعالية، فإنه يبقي أن كل ما يصدر عنه من معرفة تتمثل في منظومات( التفسير والفقه والعقائد والأصول وغيرها), إنما يكون من قبيل( المعرفة الإنسانية) المشروطة تاريخياً ومعرفياً.
وهكذا فإنه لا ينبغي التمويه بحقيقة صدور القرآن عن مشكاة العلم الإلهي غير المحدود؛ وهي الحقيقة التي لا يمكن أن تكون موضوعاً للشك أبداً، علي حقيقة أن ما يصدر عنه من معرفة تبقي، هي نفسها، من قبيل المعرفة الإنسانية التي يستحيل استيعابها خارج إطار التحديدات- بل وحتي الإكراهات- الزمانية والمكانية. ولسوء الحظ، فإن ثمة من يقوم بهذا التمويه، فيضيف ما يتميز به القرآن( بما هو أحد تجليات العلم الإلهي غير المحدود) من الثبات والكمال والقدرة علي تجاوز تحديدات الزمان والمكان إلي ما نشأ وتخلق حوله من منظومات أنتجها الفهم الإنساني علي النحو الذي يجعل تلك المنظومات الإنسانية في جوهرها، تكتسب- أو تكاد- كل سمات العلم الإلهي من الثبات والاكتمال وعدم القابلية للتجاوز أبداً. وغني عن البيان أن الأمر- ضمن هذا السياق- لا يتجاوز حدود السعي إلي تأبيد تلك المنظومات- وذلك عبر فك روابطها مع تاريخها والتعالي بها إلي فضاء تكتسب فيه حصانة ضد التفكير والمساءلة- للتغطية بها علي أنظمة سياسية وأوضاع اجتماعية تريد أن تحقق لنفسها دوام الحضور وثبات الهيمنة.

he philosophy of Islam will be shown in terms of the modern philosophy, and if there are imperfections in the old ideas then they shall be removed. My task is merely constructive, and in this construction I shall take into consideration the best traditions of Islamic philosophy.
